Blowin’ in the Wind 🍂 | A Musical Memory from 2017

One Voice. One Guitar. One Take.

Some recordings are more than just music. They capture a particular moment in time.

In the autumn and winter of 2017, I recorded my own interpretation of Bob Dylan’s timeless classic Blowin’ in the Wind.

Just my voice, an acoustic guitar and a little percussion. The vocals and guitar were recorded live together in a single, uninterrupted take.

As a longtime admirer of Bob Dylan, this song has always held a special place in my heart.

Rather than trying to reproduce the original, I followed my own musical instincts and gave the song a personal interpretation.

A Memory from the Beginnings of 5 Records

2017 was also the year I founded my independent music label, 5 Records.

Almost nine years later, I’ve revisited this recording and carefully remastered it in 2026, preserving its original warmth, intimacy and authentic character.

With the 10th anniversary of 5 Records approaching in 2027, this little musical memory feels especially meaningful.

Sometimes the simplest recordings carry the most memories.
